The Weekly Rhythm That Changed How I Execute

Theme days, energy windows, and the one non-negotiable that anchors every week.

For years, I tried to be productive by doing everything every day. It never worked. The week always felt like chaos dressed up as a calendar.

Then I started building around rhythm instead of a schedule. Here's the difference: a schedule tells you what to do when. A rhythm tells you what kind of work belongs to what kind of day. It gives structure without rigidity.

My Theme Day Framework

Monday is strategy and planning. No client calls, no content creation. Just thinking, reviewing the week ahead, and making sure I'm working toward the right things.

Tuesday and Wednesday are deep work days. This is when I write, create, build. My energy is highest and my focus is sharpest. These days are protected.

Thursday is calls and connection — client meetings, collaborations, podcasts.

Friday is my wrap-up and reflection day. What got done? What didn't? What needs to carry forward? Friday is also when I write my weekly newsletter — it's how I close the loop on the week.

The one non-negotiable: my Sunday planning session. Twenty minutes, every week. Without it, Monday is reactive. With it, Monday has direction.
